Did i mention my sister got married? yup she just got married on the second day of hari raya korban.. but the kenduri is still not being done. we planned to have the kenduri on raya cina holiday. that's mean i have to go back to my hometown again..


on the day she got married, during the khutbah by the tok kadi (there's a khutbah given by tok kadi before the akad nikah and it's damned too long... the pengantin lelaki already sweating) me and my cousin, Chik was 'boraking' with her. then i said to Chik.. " you know Chik.. smlm kak xleh tido becoz she was memorising all the Cakar Harimau and Urut Labah-labah"... Chik just couldnt stop laughing and Kak terus halau both of us from her room. warghahaha even on her wedding day, she's still garang.. huhuhuhu.. best sungguh kenakan kak aku nih.


the majlis akad nikah was simple. mom didnt invite many people from our party, but there's about more than 50 people from the pengantin lelaki came. it's just the akad nikah and then makan2. no majlis persandingan was held as it was planned on raya cina.


i was told by my cousin that, the guest was served with lauk ikan. yup fish and other lauk also. she said that it's a symbol that asking the guest to come again for the kenduri since the kenduri will be held later. is it? dunno la.. this org tua thingy seems a little bit weird to me. what do you think?

I felt old today..

just realized that i have turn 26 (by year that is..)

my fren asked me to be his witness to sign in his agreement.

he was offered KPLI (to be a teacher). in the agreement, i need to fill my age..

then that's how i realized i'm 26 years old.. felt like an adult now.

before this, i just dont think about it... even i after got married...

tomorrow umi will go to work. it's sunday.. but she has to go to work. her bos has given her some flexible working hours. she has to work for 3 days, and off for another 3 days.. well more rest for her. this opportunity is given only becoz she's pregnant. after giving birth, it's normal working hours for her.

Why Do We Drive On The Left

Ever wondered why we drive on the left while others drive on the right? The obvious answer would be, driving on the left is a legacy left to us by the Brits. However, let’s delve a little deeper. The ‘rule of the road’ in mainland Europe and the majority of countries in the world, including the United States, is to drive on the right.

In the United Kingdom and most countries that belong to the Commonwealth, the rule of the road remains to drive on the left. These include countries like Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, some Caribbean islands, India and Pakistan. This rule also applies in Thailand and Japan.

The origin of the rule of the road dates back to how people travelled in violent feudal societies. As most people are right handed, it made sense to carry any weapon in the right hand. When passing a stranger on the road, it is safer to walk on the left so that the weapon is always between yourself and a possible opponent. Jousting knights also hold their lances in their right hand and passing each other’s left. So it would be safe to say that the original ‘rule of the road’ would be to travel on the left side of the road.

French military general and self-proclaimed Emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte, overturned this historic practice. Because Napoleon was left handed, his army had to march on the right so that Napoleon could keep his sword arm between himself and the advancing enemy. From Napoleon onwards, all French colonies travelled on the right.

If that were the case, you would rightly ask, why does America, a former British colony, drive on the right? Although America was originally a British colony, the southern states of the country such as Louisiana and the Canadian East coast including Quebec were colonised by the French; while the Dutch colonised New York; the Spanish and Portuguese colonised Southern Americans and much of the southwest parts of North America.

The British were very much a minority when it came to determining the traffic system. The newly independent American republic was also anxious to break away from any remaining links with its British colonial past, and opted to drive on the right system.

With this momentous decision, the driving world was split into two. How? The mass production of reliable and economical motorcars from the United States is the answer. Because American cars were designed to be driven on the right, initial exports used the same design. So out of necessity, other countries changed their rule of the road to suit the product environment.

Sweden was the last European country to convert to driving on the right in 1967. Interestingly enough, the number of road accident casualties actually dropped during this transition period in Sweden. The reason was, while everyone was getting used to the new system, they paid more attention and were more careful, resulting in fewer crashes.

So there you have it! The very archaic reason why we drive on the left. To think it all traces back to feudal knights strutting their stuff with their swords.

as for Q 2, this is something i have to reflect on. gonna do deep thinking. i had to revise the way i'm thinking.. there's somebody said to me.. you can read someone's mind through their writing. is it true? if it's true then maybe you, my fellow bloggers who read my nonsense blog may judge the way i'm thinking. is it base on logic or something else?

different people will have different way of thinking. i could say that myself is based on logic. rarely based on emotional, that's becoz i'm also human. cannot escape by thinking base on emotional.... hmm what do you think? waddabout your way of thinking?

was talking with my opismate this morning during breakfast.. he said there might be a house for sale near shell in bangi. it's a flat. strategic if u wanna buy it and turned it to rental house. need no worry obout the occupant. hmmm opportunity.. opportunity nih.. must act fast before it slip from my hand. need to improve on my working attitude. why ah? there's some task that i need to settle asap. before my boss keep asking about it. lucky i got a bz boss.. so he's not always at my back. huhuhu..

what's ur resolution for this year? mine? i just wanna save money.. just wanna prepare for my new family member that will be born in May.. hopefully. is it a He or She? dunno la.. maybe next week will go to see the doctor. i still dunno the sex of my baby yet.

ohh just remember something.... i read this news from the web. it mentioned about the movement of the earth effected the our clock. it's not 24 hours a day anymore. it's now 24 hours minus 3 microsesond. so skrg ni everybody can claim that they dont have enough time to do their things, because it's not 24 hours a day anymore rite.. since the earth is spinning faster, there might be some effect on the perubahan musim rite?. then also changes on the axis of the earth.. if the earth is not on its axis.. there's a possibility of collision of the planet.. then... errr korang pikir sendiri aaa... so sesaper yg rasa byk dosa tu.. tobat la banyak2... esok lusa sapa tau apa akan jadi. fikir-fikirkan...
